Why is tomorrow not today,

Why are you not here,

now.

I am tired of waiting,

we shouldn’t have to wait,

something this right,

shouldn’t have to be waited for.

You have to work for things that are worth it,

we’ve worked quite a bit.

We’ve made it through what most

others

would never make it through

in the beginning.

We’ve proven them wrong so far

We never had to prove it to ourselves.

We knew.

We felt it.

Less than 2 weeks.

It feels like it’s 2 months.

These 2 weeks will be longer than those 2 months apart.

I just want you

in my arms,

and I want you

to tell me to never let go.
