Microsoft To Rename Media Free XP
I’d just like to show some of the wonderfully amusing comments based on this article…lol
hahahah that’s an awesome name. hadn’t heard it yet. i think they need to leave it. and wait until they have to pull IE.. Windows XP Internet Unready Edition
If MS had a real sense of humor they’d release the new EU edition of Windows without a GUI.
oh ya! great idea! remove fucking ie and then what? get your other browser from where? oh, i’ll just download it with the internet browser i don’t have…moron.
Windows Fuck You EU Edition …I’d buy it
Why Apple Makes a One Button Mouse
No article of this kind would be complete without mentioning that users get confused with two buttons. There’s a rumor that John Carmack once asked Steve Jobs what would happen if they’d put one more key on the keyboard.
I’d just like to mention that Apple must think there customers are morons if they believe they can’t handle a 2 button mouse…more fuel for my hatred of Apple. Way to go guys.
The Mac Mini: Less Than You Think
The Mac Mini is certainly cheap—for a Macintosh. But for your $499, you get a system with a 40GB hard drive, 256MB of DDR333 memory and an ATI Radeon 9200 with an execrable 32MB of video memory. The only reason you even get a 9200 is that Apple’s chipsets lack integrated video.
This article echoes a lot of what I’ve been thinking regarding the amazing new Mac Mini. It’s overrated, underpowered, and just another example of people throwing themselves at anything Apple. It really is quite sad.
JHymn Goes Behind Apple To Bring DRM-Free Music
This is a must have application for anyone who has purchased music from iTunes.
I don’t much care, however, for Digital Rights Management (DRM). I understand why it’s there, and I know Apple never would have gotten the music industry to cooperate without it, but that doesn’t mean I have to like DRM or having my fair-use rights restricted.

I was rather confused when the other day I tried to access my site only to find a “Bandwidth Exceeded” error message. “WTF!” I exclaimed…According to my logs I’ve only used 835MB of bandwidth for this month….according to my webhost however I’ve used 4.35GB. Um yeah, small difference in opinion. So they say it may be a problem with a PHP script that keeps trying to retrieve the same information over and over hence using up all my bandwidth. I have removed the “Current Tunes” sidebar until further notice. Updates soon to follow.
This is just rather funny…and so true…
I’ve been avoiding posting this information for fear of jinxing my luck, but here goes nothing…
I started this site (in a different form, actually several different forms) back in March. As you can see from the picture…lol, it was a rough month to say the least. It’s been a good year though, at the end of December I was getting roughly 5,000 hits a month. This trend has continued on into January which makes me very proud. It’s encouraging to see the steady increase in monthly hits since the inception of this site, and it’s always interesting looking at the diverse locations that I receive hits from…apparently Germans seem to like my site. lol… “Onwards and Upwards”
I take no responsibility for this, I am simply a messenger…
An honest man was being tailgated by a stressed-out woman on a busy
boulevard. Suddenly, the light turned yellow, just in front of him. He did
the right thing, stopping at the crosswalk, even though he could have beaten
the red light by accelerating through the intersection.
The tailgating woman hit the brakes, then the roof, and the horn, screaming
in frustration as she missed her chance to get through the intersection with
him. As she was still in mid-rant, she heard a tap on her window and looked
up into the face of a very serious police officer.
The officer ordered her to exit her car with her hands up. He took her to
the police station where she was searched, fingerprinted, photographed, and
placed in a cell. After a couple of hours, a policeman approached the cell
and opened the door. She was escorted back to the booking desk where the
arresting officer was waiting with her personal effects.
He said, “I’m very sorry for this mistake. You see, I pulled up behind your
car while you were blowing your horn, flipping the guy off in front of you,
and cussing a blue streak at him. I noticed the ‘Choose Life’ license plate
holder, the ‘’What Would Jesus Do’ bumper sticker, the ‘Follow Me to Sunday
School’ bumper sticker, and the chrome-plated Christian fish emblem on the
trunk. Naturally, I assumed you had stolen the car.”
Yes, I know there has been a lack of “personal” posts as of late. This is fully intentional. Primarily this is for two fold: one, I have been in the wonderfully simple process of trying to figure out my life and two, I’ve been leading a rather boring life as of late. Besides the building and completion of my new computer I honestly haven’t been up to much of anything. Everyday is the same schedule except for slight rare variation from the monotony. I’ll be playing volleyball Thursday night, which I guess right now is the closest thing to excitement in my week. Lol…yes, I am aware that that sounds quite boring, and in fact it is. However, boring is quite a good thing for me right now. To say the least, my head has felt like a jumble of confusion and mixed up thoughts lately. The simplest explanation I have been able to come up goes like this:
Imagine sitting in the passenger seat of a car and you are looking at the frost cover window as the images flying by you. Being a passenger is particularly important because it emphasisizes how I feel like I’m not really in control of where ever I am going. You know there are things out there, and you would love to be able to see and comprehend what you are seeing, but you can’t quite seem to be able to focus clearly and make out that which you are seeing. It makes it especially frustrating because you remember what it felt like to be sitting still and to have the ability to clearly distinguish those things.
That’s the best explanation I have, for better or for worse. …And such is life

The job interview is considered to be the most critical aspect of every expedition that brings you face-to- face with the future boss. One must prepare for it with the same tenacity and quickness as one does for a fencing tournament or a chess match.
