Site Update: Expression Engine 1.2 Final

ExpressionEngine 1.2

As you may have read, about a month ago I was accepted into the beta teating of Expression Engine 1.2 which included the very anticipated Photo Module. Now, after 3 beta’s Expression Engine 1.2 final has been released. It’s hard for me to see the changes/updates/new features since I’ve been using this for the past month, but I’d highly reccommend the upgrade for anyone who it interested in a photo gallery and is currently using EE. The Photo Module has been seemlessly intergrated into EE so there is a consistant system of templates, formatting, etc. Anyone not already using EE, this is even more of a reason to make the move to this amazing blogging engine.

The ExpressionEngine Photo Gallery supports advanced features like image watermarking, cropping, resizing, rotation, thumbnailing, nested categories, batch importing, multiple galleries, and more.  You can even email your photos to your gallery!

[Update] I just remembered one of the major new features, EE 1.2 finally has support for the Blogger API which is a big deal for some people (not me, as previous posts have stated).
