I’ve been running this for a while and I admit, I love it. It’s very nice to be able to upload files to a secure place and then retrieve them later when I need them. Check it out.

GmailerXP – Home
If you have a Gmail account and you have a Windows system you need this program, it’s just that simple. This will provide you with a way of downloading and backing up all of your Gmail on your local computer. You’ll eventually be able to sync your Outlook mailbox with your Gmail account. Also, it supports multiple Gmail accounts so if you’re like me (3 accounts and 12 unused invites) you’re all set.
CherryOS
This one is still pretty up in the air…it has yet to be confirmed, but if this is true this will be a very nice option for OSX emulation on a PC. However, there are several glaring mistakes that leave me wondering if this is not just simply a rip of PearPC. We will see soon…
[Updated] What’s Up? – My Life, Counter Strike: Source, etc…
I thought I’d write a little about what’s been keeping me busy and such. Classes, classes, and oh yeah, Classes with a little bit of homework thrown in for fun. Other than that, my few spare waking moments of free time have been devoted to spending lots of time with my Liz and the typical computer-dorkiness. Oh yeah, so Counter Strike: Source kicks so much ass it’s not even funny. Check out the main site here: Counter Strike: Source at IGN or Counter Strike: Source at Valve …and a long with this I am one of the millions of eager (and at this point very annoyed) masses of gamers waiting for the release of Half-Life 2. God knows we may have another code theft.

Skinning Gmail with a Custom Stylesheet [persistent.info]
Skinning Gmail with a Custom Stylesheet
This is damn cool. Consider the possibilities if you will: personally I like the minimalistic appearance of Gmail as it stands. But, the key improvement I would really like to make/see would be to remove the targeted advertising in the side panel. Using CSS, it would be quite possible to eliminate these ads by simply adding: ( display: none; ) in it’s associated div, and Whoila! …no more advertisements in Gmail. Once I get some time I will actually sit down and play with this and see if I can do just that. Check back soon and I may just have this little problem fixed.
