Pixels, photos and Moore – International Herald Tribune
I’m eagerly awaiting Canon’s next move, probably to 25-plus megapixels. I’m what marketing people call an early adopter, but mark my words - you’ll own a 16- or even a 25-megapixel point-and-shoot in a few years, and it will not stop there. By some estimates, your eyes have an effective resolution of more than 500 megapixels. If you can see it, why shouldn’t a camera record it?
An effective resolution of 500 megapixels for the human eye...that is just crazy.

Explore Shakespeare with Google
Explore Shakespeare with Google
Now Shakespeare’s oeuvre is even more accessible. Search within Hamlet for “to be or not to be” to read the rest of his famous soliloquy. Find out who called the world his “oyster” and why.
Pretty cool stuff...there is a plethora of other books that are searchable as well.

Google Browser Sync
Google Browser Sync for Firefox is an extension that continuously synchronizes your browser settings – including bookmarks, history, persistent cookies, and saved passwords – across your computers. It also allows you to restore open tabs and windows across different machines and browser sessions.
Interesting idea, sounds like it could be useful in some instances, but I have major issues with trusting Google with all of my cookies, saved passwords, etc ... maybe it’s for you though, it’s just not for me.

evolt.org – Browser Archive
Pretty useless, but it’s an archive of every web browser ever released...including some very small (and very rare) browsers.

Flock: The web browser for you and your friends
Flock is a free web browser that makes it easier than ever to share photos, stay up-to-date with news from your favorite sites, and search the Web.
A brand new public release is now available, just a brief FYI for people considering trying this: some Firefox extensions are compatible, most are not so there is no guarantee that your favorite extension will work with Flock.
