Top 10 Reasons the Apple Dock Sucks

10 Reasons why the Apple Dock Sucks

A rather amusing article, Apple bashing aside, still has some good points about the lack of utility of the Apple Dock.

A certain class of Apple users—those who check their email once or twice a week and sometimes need to print an attached photo—may need nothing more than the Dock.

Site Design Based on the Statistics

Well, I just made a decision for the future design of this website. Here is how it breaks down:

The most used browser is Firefox (FF)

Firefox 46.9 %

The second most used browser is Internet Explorer (IE)

Msie 6.0 23.7 %

Msie 5.5 2.4 %

The remaining browsers are a mix of Safaria, Opera, and misc Netscape broswers.

Based on these statistics, I am going to design my site from this point forward based on these browsers. This will lead to a small potential breakdown in compatability for users of older browsers. This change in design policy, however, will greatly increase the cross-browser and cross-platform compatability for majority of the site visitors. For most visitors there will be no visible changes, for others there may be major changes. Stay tuned.

Microsoft Denies Using Firefox

Microsoft Denies Using Firefox

Brian Peterson, of Microsoft’s PR firm Waggener Edstrom, said: “None of our approved/distributed screen shots of MSN Search were made using a Mozilla Firefox browser. Moving forward, we will not be commenting on this issue”.

Here is the screenshot in question. How stupid can you get? It’s plain to anyone with eyes that this is Firefox, why deny it?
